Courtney Bodine is one of my fourth-grade students at Bobby’s Run Elementary School. Courtney’s strengths are her proficiency in writing and she excels at drawing. Courtney likes to free write about her experiences or create her own stories and she likes drawing so much that she wants to become an illustrator one day. Courtney is a visual learner and likes working in pairs. Her determination to complete her academic tasks leads her to be an extremely organized student. Her curiosity and desire to learn new things motivate her learning and give her something to work towards. A subject area that Courtney is weak in is mathematics, she has a love-hate relationship with it and only feels comfortable with it when she completely understands the concept.
