Both parents of Angelino and M.C. Neil portray a good parental qualities in that they take care of their family and they do their best to see their needs are satisfied in both education wise, social, and development wise hence the family grew to the rate that they are now able to move and expand to other families.
2 The development of self-determination is a way of one controlling his own destiny at is also a force of developing ones set goals to be achievable.it also involve taking charge making ones choices to learn effectively and solve problems. Self-determination is also a process that begin at child hood and develops to adult hood throughout one’s life but the process become difficult for people for children with disability as they are not given freedom to make choice but there choices are made for them but this is not good as they should be given opportunity to use their self-advocacy, decision making and socialization skills so that they can fit in the society

This is shown by the Angelino family in the manner they guide bring up their children with a lot care so that will live to follow their values .norms and tradition which has been passed by their grandparents, also the McNeil family believe on this as their parents put in them values norms and tradition which they were to abide with till adult hood, and also to their expectant child.

Families can provide support for their children in the development of self-determination parents can do this by giving their children growing opportunity to make their own decisions this involves activies like networking with relatives and friends accept their children as they are adult to take adult hood role in choices that determine their future even if it means making mistake both the families have worked to support their family to be where they are this involves education , moral values, and parental guidance.
