When a mother lives according to her values she is focused on what is most important, providing her children something to live for. In other words, a mother instills values in her children by living them herself. For example, if a mother wants to teach her children to show respect, she must be respectful. If a mother does not want her children to hurt each other or to yell, she must not hurt them or yell at them. On the other hand, if a child lives in a household where the mother teaches through word or action that “anything goes,” neglecting to set standards and live by her values, her children are more likely to lead careless lives.…

On to the first movie, it is clear that Leigh Anne is a strong and brave woman because she knew that motherhood is not just about taking good care of her biological kids. In fact, motherhood is also about taking good care of children not hers. According to Donna Bell “ Motherhood is a choice you make everyday, to put someone else 's happiness and well-being ahead of your own, to teach the hard lessons, to do the right thing, even when you 're not sure what the right thing is...and to forgive yourself, over and over again, for doing everything wrong.” All women enter motherhood with preconceived notions or a set of beliefs and expectations about what it means to be a good mom.
