In this ever demanding world perfect leadership cannot be truly attained nor explained in a mere three characteristics. Leadership is a multifaceted feat similar to the Ring Master at a circus, however instead of presenting each act then shining the spotlight on the employee, leaders must conduct an amazing, wondrous task themselves by interacting voraciously with a team, learning each members weaknesses and strengths then delegating work to the companies ' best advantage. However for this discussion we will focus on the top three qualities.
First and foremost comes fearlessness. Standing before teams and groups, directing, teaching, giving focus and direction takes huge amounts of spirit. Anyone can hide behind a desk and give orders yet fall far short of being a great leader. One must move from behind that shield and show their power and forbearance, to pry out of the group those hidden talents and help improve their company. To take the initiative and say we are the best and then lead them to that completely attainable goal. Celebration of our achievements give us the sense of accomplishment and often brings enjoyment to our jobs that might otherwise become tedious and possibly unbearable, generally resulting in a resignation or termination. Sending your team members the message that an excellent job often has a wonderful bonus will encourage them to keep up the good work but more likely than not will motivate them to work even harder with a satisfied smile.
