Throughout my life, I have been influenced to have many characteristics. Some of them good, some of them bad. Today, I am here to tell you of the good characteristics that I have. Out of so many great stories that I have read lately, there were two that really connected with me and had characters that shared the same traits as me. I share the same character trait as Winston Smith from 1984 by George Orwell. The trait that we both share is individualism. I also share the same character trait as Rama from “The Ramayana” by Valmiki. The trait that I share with Rama is strategic. My personal code focuses on individualistic and strategic. I feel that I am similar to the character Winston Smith from 1984, and Rama from “The Ramayana”.

I thought to myself later that day that I had the freedom to think about wanting to move up to all college prep classes. The next day, I decided to go see my guidance counselor and I finally had the freedom to say to her that I believed that I would be able to handle the course load and that I would prove it to her by finishing the semester that we were already in, strongly. When she saw that I was capable of it, she let me move up. I feel like this really was how Winston felt as well. Winston really wanted to do something and he still did it knowing what the consequences would be and he wasn't afraid.
This leads me to my next belief in my personal code of conduct.

One trait that I try to exemplify is strategic: by being strategic, I have backup plans that help me to succeed in life. This is similar to what is being discussed about Rama in “The Ramayana”. Rama shows that he is strategic through the quote, “Rama had to pause to consider.what final measure he should bring his campaign to an end. After much thought, he decided to use Brahmasthra” (Valmiki 249). This quote is significant because it is significant because it is saying that Rama really just wants to defeat Ravana once and for all, so he pauses for a moment in the middle for the battle and

The three fictional characters that most represent my personality are Gohan for his/her shyness, Mr Krabs for his selfish nature, and Marvin the Martian for his seriousness and clumsiness. Even though Mr Krabs is a crab who owns a restaurant under the sea in a show, it does not mean we do not have similarities; we both are very stingy and selfish for what we desire and work for. In the novel 1984 by George Orwell, Winston is both a hero and an antihero because he does not have the typical traits that would make him a hero, although he is only trying to stop the reign of Big Brother. In Oceania he was considered to have a “normal” life because he had good job and “friends”. But even with all this he was not satisfied with what he had he felt like he was being watched and controlled with everything he did. Due to the constant surveillance from the party he became more and more rebellious not only against big brother but also against anyone who would try to make him do…
