Character Traits Of Anne Frank

Anne Frank was a 15-year-old Jewish girl who was born and raised in Frankfort, Germany. She was sadly living during a time of ugliness for the Jewish race, the Holocaust. Anne was one of the many Jewish people who had to go into hiding in order to keep herself alive, which sadly did not happen. She died shortly before the Holocaust ended. Anne was a confident, energetic, and kindhearted girl.

The first characteristic Anne had was confidence. She never cared about what other people thought, and she always spoke of what was on her mind. She was never afraid to speak the truth and put her opinion out there, whether anyone cared or not. An example of Anne being confident is in act 1 scene 3, page 20 when she says, "I'm going to be a famous dancer or singer...or something wonderful!" She always put others before herself, even when situations were bad. One example of her being kindhearted was in act 1 scene 5, page 34 when she "rushes into her room...comes back running" and she says she has presents for everyone. This shows she was kindhearted, not only because she got presents, but because she did it during a time of difficulty. She even personalized each one to every person's liking. Another example of Anne being kindhearted is in act 1 scene 5, page 39 when she said, "Someone go after father! Make father come back!" This shows she was kindhearted because she cared very little about whether there was someone downstairs. She cared for the safety of her father. In these situations, a lot of people only think of themselves. For her to think of her father's safety is amazing to me. This is why I believe that Anne was a kindhearted
