My top character strength is honesty, authenticity, and genuineness. Yet it seems to leave many choices available but a higher chance of unhappiness. Putting your happiness on social conditions, material objects, etc. seems to temporarily meet the need of an unhappy life. A balance must be struck using interactionism. This article resonates with me in regards to using my internal and external environments in a sort of balanced way to lead me, and keep me, in happiness. By recognizing that the external conditions to reach happiness are equally important and that happiness
