This summer I read This Star Won’t Go Out By Esther Grace Earl. In this essay I’d like to share with you some of the feelings I expressed as I was reading this book. The feelings throughout this book really make you look at yourself differently and that’s a very powerful message. This book all though hilarious and extremely entertaining is also heart wrenchingly sad. Esther was a very happy and joyful young girl and i’d like to share some of that joy with you. Here are some emotional examples of feelings from this book.
The first emotion that I expressed while reading this book was happiness, I was ecstatic when I first heard Esther’s humor. She seemed to be such a happy person that it just made …show more content…
After battling with her health for a couple of days Esther was driven to the hospital in an ambulance and was immediately placed in the ICU. All through the night Esther struggled to contain herself from the cancer that was consuming her, but she couldn’t, with one final breath Esther passed away. And so Esther’s Living story ended At 3:00 P.M. August 25, 2010 when Esther was too weak to continue with her battle against cancer, so the cancer in which her lungs were made out of took control and directed Esther to new and better place’s. This is the last and final emotion I will share with you from this book, sadness. This part in the book was so sad that I couldn’t help but feel a deep connection with the characters at this moment. Sadness was a huge part of this book it brought out all the amazing feelings throughout the story, hope, love, joy, I could go on and on. I loved how even though Esther died she still brought people together in memories and thoughts. I believe sadness is a huge part of the journey in which this book took place.
This book was amazing. although I was only able to type up two ways I felt throughout the story just know that there are pages of emotions that I could type up all from this book. Throughout the whole entire story I was feeling so many emotions it’s hard to believe that it was just some words written on a page thousands of miles away.
