Character Analysis: The Pact, The Three Doctors

Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, and Rameck Hunt were childhood friends that grew up in the rough neighborhoods of Newark, New Jersey. They all suffered with financial problems and family related issues but despite their difficulties their friendship helped them succeed and eventually gave them a more stable life style. Sam, Rameck and George created a Pact, or a promise with one another, to get through high school and complete a medical program to become Doctor’s. Their dreams became reality because of the connection with one another and the genuine commitment of their desire to succeed. In the epilogue of The Pact, The Three Doctors write about their purpose and give advice to others who are experiencing struggling situations. They wrote The …show more content…
This is a valuable story to pass on to students who find themselves in similar situations. I agree with every aspect of the book because it really encourages people to sour like eagles and gives key details to assist anyone who needs advice. The doctors wrote this Epilogue so people can realize their future is not decided for them and that they are capable of making all their dreams a reality. I really do exploring through individual stories of success like this one can have a wonderful impact on an individuals life. Truly, this book has changed my thinking and has made me analyze my life. The Pact is powerful and inspiring as it shows the importance of good decision making in all aspects. Good decision making is to make the best out of every situation, to love your enemies, to abstain from drugs, to commit to your studies, and to pick yourself up when you're just about to call it "quits." Most importantly, this book illustrates the importance of friends and how it is of great importance to choose them wisely as they influence you greatly whether you know it or not. This book is about believing in yourself and reaching your goals. It urges one to run that extra mile as it shows how even the least unexpected human being can accomplish big things if they learn to balance their time. The Pact will lead everyone to think twice about where they stand in life and their purpose in this very intricate
