Character Analysis: The Lion King

Level 1 of leadership for the Matrix was when Morpheus finds Neo he kinda forced neo to come with him. While in The Lion King this was shown when Mufasa was king. Level 2 was shown When Neo was given a choice to make, take the blue pill and remain ignorance of the truth and awake back at home unharmed or take the red pill and see the painful truth of reality and escape the Matrix. This also was shown in the Lion King when Nala follows Simba to the dark side. Level 3 was shown in the Matrix when Trinity pulled Neo down the wall and followed Morpheus’s order to leave. In the Lion King Simba’s uncle says the hyenas are the enemy and the hyenas over hear it and go after the uncle instead. Level 4 was shown in the Matrix when Morpheus jumps out of the wall onto the agent to save Neo. While in the Lion king this is shown when Simba comes back and saves everyone from dying of starvation. Level 5 was shown when Neo gets out of the Matrix but goes back in to save Morpheus. At this point, Neo begins thrashing and moving about indecisively and rapidly. His body language clearly communicates several things such as the emotions of fear, and disgust. While in The Lion King Mufasa states “ Zazu Take Nala home I have to teach my son a lesson.” Mufasa had saved Simba and Nala from the hyenas. Then after Zazu and Nala leaves, Simba walks slowly to his father with his head down. Though Mufasa doesn't tell Simba right away that he is disappointed in him Simba understands it from his tone of voice and facial expressions.
