Alexus enjoys being active in her school and community. For the last three years at South Umpqua High School, Alexus has been part of the Drama Club, C.A.R.E Club, and National Honor Society. Alexus has enjoyed being the editor of the yearbook for the last two years, creating memories for her peers. She gladly accepts challenges and is excited to see a project come together.
Alexus has also been a varsity cheerleader for two years. She has performed on the All-State competition team during that time and has had to work hard, giving up Saturdays, to do compete with her group. Alexus has a positive attitude when it comes to hard work. She enjoys the challenge and works to make herself better. She has also been part of the varsity girls bowling team the last two years.

She works hard on every assignment, doing her best to make sure she follows all instructions. Alexus has a desire to better herself and she has taken advantage of several programs South Umpqua High School offers. South Umpqua High School partners with Umpqua Community College to offer dual credit classes, where students earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Alexus has enrolled in several dual credit classes, such as Writing 115, Writing 121 and 122, Math 111 and 112, First Aid, Culinary 160, and Chemistry 104. Alexus has also taken four on-line classes through Umpqua Community College. During this time Alexus has continued to keep her grades up in her high school classes which is evident in her 3.64
