Character Analysis: San Antonio Firefighter William Stripling

San Antonio Fire Department firefighter William Stripling is thankful for the brotherhood the department brought him. “Here I am, surrounded by a group of men that I call my brothers, who all have a passion for service to others,” said Stripling. Stripling had no idea what joining the department was going to entail. Stripling said if you were to tell him three years ago who his best friends would be, he would not have believed you. “The most interesting thing that has happened to me is the unexpected friendships,” Stripling said. Stripling said his captain has made the biggest impact on him so far.
