Book Report: The Maze Runner

The book that I read for my distopan lighture is The Maze Runner Written by James Dashner. The story of the book is that Thomas is sent to live in a maze called Glade that changes everyday with other boys his age . They try to find a way out of the maze, but if they stay to long out in the maze, then the walls will close and the grevers will come out. The the grevers are a very dangerist moster that only comes out a night, ways one ton, hase spikes, and has a stinger that can sting the boys, and if they surive get the antidote, they will go throw the canging. The canging is a prosus that cures you, but you come out different.Then when he things that everything is going right and he had settled, the first girl comes and things stary going all rong for the village. …show more content…
His physical appearance consistis of a 5 foot 9, skinny, 15-year ould boy with sandy brown hair, just like the average teanagers. His personality trait consist of a scarding, kind, helpful, smart, brave, and quick thinking kid. He would help everyone, even if it ment putting hisself in danger. An example would be when Tomas went into the maze to save his friends, but doing is agenst the rules. “Tomas knew he had no choice. He moved. Forward. He squeezed past the connecting rods at the last second, and stepped into the Maze” (Dashner 112). This is a perfect example of why he is brave. Another example to prove he a certain personality trait is this, “He (Tomas) grabed one of the vines and tied it to Alby’s right arm. Then he took another vine and did the same to his other arm, and both legs… Tomas made his way up the stone wall… Climb, wrap, push up, tie off. Climb, wrap, push up, tie off. They’d reched a shop thirty feet off the grownd” (Dashner 123). Because of Tomasa’s quick thinking, he was able to save Abby’s life. These are just a few examples of Tomsas persisnaldy
