Brief Summary Of The Book 'The Alchemist'

Santiago the main character of the book ‘The Alchemist’ lives in a small village his dream was to travel the world. He love books he always had a book with him. By becoming shepherd he wanted to travel the world away from his little, small village. His parents wanted that their son should lead ordinary life like any other person in their village. They wanted that their son should become a priest. His father like all other parents try to explain him that what you are doing is not wrong but everyone leads almost sam3e life why do you want to roam around and the world. He decided and starts travelling to Egypt. He was travelling and found a man who wanted to learn how to change metal into gold from a person who lives on the way to the pyramids there he found a girl named Fatima and falls in love with her. He saw two hawks fighting and had a vision of army entering oasis but it was against the laws of desert. While he was sharing his vision to the chieftain. He met a stranger and that stranger was the Alchemist. The Alchemist ask him if he can cross the desert with him. They traveled and then after sometime Alchemist tells him that now he wants to return to oasis and Santiago now will go alone in order to follow his dream. When Santiago finally reached the pyramids of Egypt and was digging but found nothing and was robbed. He then tells them about his dream one thief tells him about his own dream of treasure buried in abandoned church. Returning back to his hometown, Andalusia he goes back to the place where he dreamt of treasure near pyramids. He digs where he slept under tree and found the treasure there. I really like this book.
