They both tell us that Macbeth was courageous in battle. Macbeth obviously stood up for his army and did whatever he needed to do in order for his army to succeed in battle. In this example Macbeth is a great role model for us. He shows us that we need to do whatever it takes to help others. The sergeant while he was dying said, “Do swarm upon him-from the western isles of kerns and gallowglasses is supplied. For brave Macbeth-well he deserves that name.” The sergeant is telling us that in the battle they were outnumbered and that Ireland had way more footsoldiers and cavalry. We see Lady Macbeth leading Macbeth into sin and then trying to change him. Lady Macbeth said, “Thou wouldst be great, Art not without ambition, but without the illness should attend it.” Lady Macbeth is talking about Macbeth when she is saying this. When she is talking about illness she isn’t talking about being sick. Lady Macbeth is talking about evil. When she talks about this, she is saying that Macbeth is caught it evil and he can’t change. Lady Macbeth lead Macbeth into sin. She told Macbeth that he had to kill Duncan in order for him to be king. Macbeth promised Lady Macbeth that he would kill Duncan in order for her to be king. Lady Macbeth that she would kill her babies if she promised to. We can see that she is leading Macbeth into murder. After the murder of Duncan was finished, she didn 't care about the murder she only cared about the evidence being destroyed. Once Macbeth did this deed he couldn’t get the evil out of him. Macbeth knew that he did something wrong and that he shouldn’t of done what he did. I believe that Macbeth knows that he shouldn 't do the things that he does, but he just can 't control it. Next he wanted to kill Duncan’s sons, Malcolm and Donalbain. Lady Macbeth didn’t know about this second murder. Lady Macbeth asked Macbeth what was going on and he didn 't tell her.
