Character Analysis Of 'Johnny In The Outsiders'

As Hercules once said, a true hero isn't measured by the size or strength, but by the strength of his heart. Johnny had a big heart in The outsiders, by S.E. Hinton. He may not have been strong or big but he has a giant heart.

I think Cherry is a hero because she changed her side for the greater good. She also stood up for what she believed in by stopping Bob and his friends from hurting Ponyboy and Johnny. She was nice to them at the movie drive in and was being nice to them.

Dallas is a hero too. He helps hide Ponyboy and Johnny and he gives them supplies to help them hide. He helps save Johnny from the fire and stops Ponyboy from trying to save Johnny. Dallas was always helping the gang out when needed. He cared about Johnny and the
