Analysis:
Christopher reveals how he is happy when alone when talks about his troubles with emotions. Most people can read emotions and can communicate decently with other people. Christopher is not alone in liking to be alone; most people need time to themselves too. But being happy when in the world alone reveals more of his character. He does not feel comfortable with people around him and would prefer being an outsider to society. He does not even show emotion towards living without his father. This feeling of being able to cope without others reveals how Christopher is an outsider.
