While growing up with this condition, many people have either made fun of me directly, or behind my back. Some of the things that people will always do is that they will make a hand gesture at me, call me a crumble, tell me to use my good hand, or say a sentence that might insult me. At first when people started making fun of me, I would of ran and cried to my parents, my room, or just flat out cried because I had nothing to come back with, and I was embarrassed too do anything to defend myself. Now that I’m older and can retaliate back, I will usually do a couple things to them. Some of the things is that I will do is give people the middle finger, my twin brother will take care of the business, or I will take care of the business. Back when I was in seventh grade, there were three people that will remind announcement one day just started to make fun of me by calling me a crumble, made hand gestures at me, and would tell me to use my other hand. For me, I just kept ignoring them because I knew that they will get tired of insulting me.Unfortunately, they never stop, so my twin brother, Andrew, step in and pin one of them against a locker, and tell them to stop, but they never did. This drama got so heated up that my brother went to the school counselor, and she had to tell these people to stop. It worked for a while, but they still did stop. So my brother told my parents, which they told the announcement people’s parent, and they had to apologize. Then later this year someone made fun of me , so I took matters in my own hand and took care of it. Then later on I pulled over this person aside and told him I will let him on with a warning, if you ever do it again, I will have to take things with other opportunities.
