Milo Minderbinder: Milo Minderbinder is the mess officer of the squadron. A flawed man, Milo works the black market and is at first applauded by his fellow men for his “tumultuous celebration” he receives by those in the places he visits, signifying Milo’s great esteem amongst large populations for his work (Heller 234). Milo manages to make a great deal of money through the black market and gains respect from people everywhere.
