Everybody has done something unconsciously, on impulse or on accident. Sometimes its blowing your nose on the reciept and looking at the tissue or accidentaly killing your husband! In the short story, “Lamb to the Slaughter”, by Roald Dahl, that is exactly what happens, and she does it with a frozen leg of lamb. This starts a spark in her and she starts to evolve. Throughout the story there are many times Ms. Maloney is proven to be a dynamic character. “She came out slowly, cold and surprised”, showing the begginings of her change. At the beggining of the story Ms. Maloney is portrayed as caring and kind. She says words like “darling” and her only purpose seems to be caring for her husband.
