Enrique's Journey AXES Paragraphs 1 and 2

The reason that motivates Enrique to stay with his mom lourdes is the simple fact that Enrique hasn't seen his mom for so long that now that he wants to spend all of the time he can with his mom. For Example, "Dónde está mi mami?' Enrique cries, over and over. 'Where is my mom?". This quote shows that Enrique missed his mom since the moment she left him. And all of the time she was gone made Enrique’s urge to see his mom even bigger everyday that goes by. The reason that makes Enrique want to go back to Honduras is his resentment towards his mom. For Example, “I’m not going to do the same as you stay here all my life”. This quote shows that Enrique’s resentment towards his mom is making him
