I would have been considered someone with high self-esteem and didn’t care what I could do to fix this, I had enough and I didn’t need this anymore. It was that moment I knew I …show more content…
I can remember a time during my high school days were my friends give me the cold shoulder treatment and I don’t know why or what I did. Often times I would just blow them off and in a day or two they would be over themselves and it would go back to how it used to be. However, there was one time were it went on for several days and I knew this was it. I had had enough of being treated like I didn’t exist and knew it was time for a change. Low Self-esteem Exhibited Through Oppression Self-esteem fluctuates day to day and hour to hour. My Junior year of high school, two best friends on my cheerleading team had a falling out and the events between them greatly affected their ability to work together. We were all members of the same stunt group along with another girl who was unaware of the problem. In practice, none of our stunts were working very well because both girls were putting less energy into the lifting me so the other would have to put more into it. I was not aware that they had a falling out, but after being dropped on the floor multiple times, I took them aside to talk to them.
