In chapters nine and ten of The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton it is important for the Greasers, the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard's gang to win the rumble. It is important for the Greasers, the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard's gang to win the fight because if they do not the Socials will have control of more of the Greasers, the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard's gang’s territory. The Socials would have more of the Greasers, the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard's gang’s territory because when they run the Socials will make sure the Greasers, the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard's gang stay away.
In addition, it is important for the Greasers, the Brumly boys and Tim Shepard's gang to win the fight because if people get really hurt they can not go to the hospital or
