Chapter Summary Of Ender: Chapter Analysis

At the beginning of the novel, Ender was violent. In the first chapter of the novel Ender gets into a fight and brutally beats another kid after he already winning the fight but later feels bad and cries about his actions. Ender cries after his fight with the bully even after he won because his actions reminded him of his brother and Ender doesn’t want to be filled with violence like his brother.
In the middle of the novel, Ender is accepted into battle school for passing his monitor test. On the spaceship Ender is sitting alone after the ship takes off the colonel comes in and tell the group of other boys who passed how smart Ender is. After some of the boys start to pick on Ender what Ender did before he did again. When one of the boys went to flick his head Ender grabbed his arm and swung him forward in null gravity which broke his arm as he hit the wall. After Ender was upset that he was like his brother and that he would get iced or kick out of battle school before he even got there.

During Ender’s battle simulation he destroys the enemy fleet while sacrificing his. As Ender destroys the enemy fleet he realizes it’s not over and fires their ultimate weapon at the home planet destroying it. As the simulation comes to an end Ender learns that this was no simulation and he just destroyed an entire species. Ender becomes very upset because he could have done things differently. On the planet, ender is on during the final chapters of the novel he finds a queen alien and sees she is dying so he takes the last egg of that species and makes it his mission to find it a
