In the story of “The Lottery”, there are villagers in a small beautiful village where many family and children live in. In this village, people believed that they must play this game called the lottery because it is their superstition. Men, women, and even children are allowed to participate activates of the lottery. The way how the lottery system goes is by having a black box that has a bunch of a folded piece of papers. Many of the papers are blank and there is only one piece of paper that has a mark; whoever wins the mark the lottery. They would make a list of all the names of the people who are participating and will call them up to receive their paper. Once every person has a folded piece of paper, they will unfold it up to see if they
