Chapter eight
***Cassidy 's P.O.V***
Sitting in maths class was hard. It meant that I had to leave Carson alone. And I was worried. He pretty much got no sleep and he looked pale and sick. I knew he couldn 't handle much more stress with his work, his mum being a drunk lunatic, and only being able to do things when Sam was at someone 's house.

"Alright, I have a plan."
He nodded. "Shoot."
"So, you know how I invited Carson over to my house. Basically, you bring Oliver to my house and we 're going to stuff them in the pantry together and lock it."
He smiled, then frowned. "Okay, but how am I supposed to get him to your house?"
I snorted. "Just tell him that you need to stop at your uncle 's house. I 'll leave the door unlocked you walk into the kitchen and we attack. Here 's my address."
I wrote it on his arm and walked away.

Trying to get Carson to stand in the kitchen with me was hard until I made some popcorn. That kid loved his popcorn.
We heard the door creak open and Carson didn 't look up from his popcorn. "Is that your dad?"
I nodded my head. "Yep."
I looked up and Oliver saw me. "Wait, what?"
Carson looked at Oliver, his face in pain.
I looked at Dave. "Go!"
Oliver squeaked as Dave pushed him into the pantry cupboard, and I pushed Carson in, locking the door. I turned to Dave we both started laughing. I heard the pantry light on and heard soft sigh that I knew came from Carson.
We left to go sit on the couch and wait for the two to make up.
