School: One Of The Worst Places For Me To Be?

We may not be struggling, but I know that we don 't have too much excess to spend. Anytime I tell her I didn 't get something I wanted because of money she tells me not to worry and that I 'm allowed to spend money. If I had my own money I would feel better about spending, but people don 't tend to hire employees who can 't speak.

Dani sighed. "Dee, you can 't be so scared. We 're fine; this month 's bills are paid already. If you want to buy a book or a cup of coffee after school you can. I 'm not saying you have to, but if you want something I want you to have it. You haven 't gotten a new book in months and I know you want some."

When we pulled into our driveway all I could do was mumble, "I 'm sorry." I got out of the car and walked straight into the house. Glancing at the time I saw it was already quarter to ten o 'clock, I needed to take my anxiety

As I walked through the front doors of Allentown Central Catholic High School, I felt a sudden rush of panic. Everything I had once seen and had once been familiar with in middle school quickly vanished into thin air. I was terrified, not because I thought I was going to get lost, but because I knew that every little quiz I took, every little paper I wrote, and every exam I labored over would now count toward my ultimate goal of getting into a prestigious university. I wasn’t scared of new faces, but rather new beginnings and experiences.…
