George Muller is an amazing man of prayer, Especially in this book. My favorite excerpt from this book would be in chapter 8 when Muller prays and prays about making the first orphan house, then on December 5 he was praying and got a scripture for the Orphans. After those two days on December 7 he got his first shilling (which isn’t even a dollar in today's money) for the orphan house. Then ,two more days later, he got donations of clothes and furniture for the orphanage. This showing how good God was listening. My second favorite excerpt from this book was in the ending when he small separate houses on wilson street, no room for play areas in the back, and bad plumbing. Then he had his own land and was building his 3rd house on his own land.
