World War F
Chapter One “Ahh, another beautiful day,” yawned Puss as he got out of bed. He grabbed his bright red boots and got ready for another day of adventure. “What should I do today?” thought Puss as he walked out of the alleyway he used as a home. “Rob a store, annoy the royal guards, or… this!” he threw a rock, hoping it would distract the fruit stand owner. It flew right off target and hit the man in the head knocking him out cold. He smashed into the fruit stand knocking everything over.
“PUSS!” Yelled Antonio, the royal guard. He wore a tan tunic and he was holding a small sword. ”What are you doing now you stupid thief!” He grabbed Puss by the scruff of his neck.
“Hey let me down you big oaf!” screamed Puss. “It wasn't me!”

“Yes you do.”
“Do not.”
“Do so.”
“DO NOT!” Screamed Pinocchio. His nose then grew to the size of a log. Puss then picked him up and used him as a battering ram to bash down the gate. The gate splintered into a thousand pieces. They ran through the wreckage into the enchanted forest.

Chapter 5 Only until they were far away from the Gingerbread kingdom did they slow down. The forest was dark and the trees blocked the sun from shining in. They wandered through the Enchanted forest until they came across a city. “This is Far Far Away city. Or what's left of it.” Said Puss in awe. The city was a battle ground. Shell holes everywhere. The shops and houses were in ruins and they were falling like dominos. The hay roofs had burn marks on them and everything was singed and on fire. The sidewalks and streets had huge cracks in them like shattered glass, buildings and stores had holes in them like swiss cheese, and everything smelled like gunpowder and fire. They walked down the broken road until they came across a reasonably intact shop that used to be a market. “Let's camp here for the night, it will give us some shelter.” Said Puss. They all agreed so they walked into the building. It was dark and smelled unpleasantly like rotten and moldy

gingerbread soldiers and knights were fighting there. A group of gingerbread soldiers tried to stop them but a cannon ball flew out of nowhere and smashed them to bits. They continued running through the warzone. People were fighting everywhere, the grass was burning in some parts, and it smelled like icing, gingerbread, and blood. “Come on we are almost to the forest, we need to keep going.” Said the Beast. He slashed at a gingerbread soldier cutting him to bits with his huge claws. Cinderella smashed a knight in the face with her glass slipper. “Look, there is the treeline!” Yelled Puss. “Wait. Cinderella, watch out!” But it was too late. The cannonball rammed into her with the force of an elephant, then it exploded sending shrapnel everywhere. “Come on we have to keep going!” Said Rapunzel sadly. They finally made it to the trees. “The Fairy Godmother is close.” Said Puss. They all looked up and through the trees they could see an abandoned castle in the

Personal Narrative rough draft : Car accident It was early in April of 2016, sunny and beautiful, the day was sure to be full of excitement and energy as student council speeches are due and the final trimester of the year was slowly coming to an end. I woke up that morning to my mother blissfully waking me up with my light turning on and her sweet beautiful voice saying “Wake up, Joey,” I slowly rolled out of bed and stumbled into the shower trying hopelessly to escape the morning and the horrible sensations of waking up early on a Wednesday. As the warm water rushed over me I rehearsed in my head how I would present my student council speech to my teacher. Little did I know how different it would actually be that day.…

The sky was engulfed with hopes and prayers of the soldiers that inhabited the wasteland below. Rain fell like pellets soaking everything it could reach. My clothes hung limply off my body, dripping with the water that was flowing from the grey stained sky. The mud that was once hard turned into slush in seconds and splashed everything as I attempted to navigate my way through the trench only using the few metres that I could see in front of me. The sounds of battle cries pierced through the fog, along with the explosions of guns firing bullets…

The Brothers Grimm Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm opened their notebooks and wrote down the original story of Cinderella. What they didn’t know was that it would be changed and read all over the world by young children and inspire them. For ages we thought we knew these wonderful, bright and happy fairy tales, but they were a lot darker than they appear to be today. In the original story of Cinderella, or the original title The Little Glass Slipper, a widowed prince had a daughter and named her Zezolla, who is tended by a beloved governess.…

Perrault version of Cinderella Vs the Grimm brothers’ version of Cinderella. “Fairy tale” is the term also used to describe something containing unusual happiness, like “fairy tale ending” a happing ending, or “fairy tale romance”, though not all fairy tales have a happy ending. According to Arthur Schlesinger, classical tales “tell children what they unconsciously know-that human nature is not innately good, that conflict is real, that life is harsh before it is, happy-and thereby reassure them about their own fears and their own sense of self” (229). Despite the fact that both Perrault and the Grimm brothers versions of Cinderella are fundamentally similar to each other, but the differences between them show two different moral universes.…

Stories are well suited for discussing moral values because stories help readers learn where our moral beliefs and foundations came and continue to come from. Each story has a lesson to be learned or something that can be taken away from it. Stories teach us lessons about life and everything in between. Stories that are told at a young age started developing our morals and views and as people get older they pass those stories on to their children and it becomes a trend. All stories have meaning.…
