"It looks like we got quite a prize today." She called, being surrounded by her group of smaller pokemon with those few words. The sun’s burning rays beat down on us as we dug through the layers of Egyptian sand and rock. We had only begun the excavation the previous day and had already uncovered one-fifth of the ancient pyramid. I, as well as a team of high-ranking archaeologists, had accompanied Sarah Parcak in an expedition to unearth a lost Egyptian pyramid. “How’s your section of the chamber coming along, Erica? Ms. Herring said shortly after Mr. Mott pushed her from their porch he pushed her into their bed and kneed her in her right leg causing redness and swelling around her knee. There could be more than one definition of a beautiful place; they all differ from each other. For example, the sight and sound of ocean waves colliding with each other as they ooze onto the shore of the beach could be a definition of a beautiful place; however, the sight of gleaming city lights with the glowing silver shine of the moon resting in the sky could also be a definition of a beautiful place. Hume Lake Christian Camp is my definition of a beautiful place. It is located in the Sequoia National Forest in Hume, Fresno County, California.…

When people know the context of the literature they are studying, they can make connections with the reading to develop a better overall understanding. A Narrative of the Captivity and Restoration of Mrs. Mary Rowlandson is clearly Puritan literature. Rowlandson’s narrative is Puritan literature because of the Puritan elements present, the comparison of the role of God to that of other Puritan works, and the similarity of the focus of Rowlandson to the focus of other Puritan writers. Combining these elements validates Rowlandson’s work as Puritan literature. The first way to identify A Narrative of the Captivity and Restoration of Mrs. Mary Rowlandson as Puritan literature is to find the Puritan thoughts about which Rowlandson writes.…

I used to live in Alabama at the time, but making a living was exceptionally hard for my family and me. We didn’t let that hold us back though, we continued to try and cultivate the fields to grow and sell crop. Even though the fields had been reduced to nothing more than dust due to the drought, we were persistent and continued to work despite that. While my father and older brothers work the fields, I helped my mother around the house.…
