Respondent # 1. “Lola Leslie”
Lola Leslie was able to complete 15 Forgiveness Therapy sessions only. During the third session, she expressed that there was a change in her feelings and thoughts towards her brother-in-law until the 15th session. However, she still made displeasing remarks about him. She became involved in petty quarrels with her fellow resident. Her behavior became restricted. Her socialization with other elderlies became limited.

“Lolo Evan”
Lolo Evan’s ill thoughts and feelings towards his parents did not change. But, he somehow acknowledged that his experience of too strict discipline from his parents had negative effects on him. Slowly, he was able to open up about his life stories. His evasiveness of the topic lessened.
Respondent # 7. “Lolo Dexter”
Lolo Dexter reported to have lessened negative feelings towards the woman who gave away his child and somehow he developed an understanding on her life. Also, his generalized negative thoughts about women disappeared as he developed a new love relationship with another resident.
His behavior changed, he became more engaged with other people instead of isolating himself. He also displayed concern with his fellow residents.
Respondent # 8. “Lolo Ely”
Lolo Ely had lessened negative thoughts and feelings towards his daughter-in-law and the pastor. He developed an understanding towards them. He also had realizations on his own mistakes. However, before he granted them forgiveness, he wanted to have a dialogue. The nature of the elderlies’ painful experiences due to their offender/s, who committed an offense or a series of offense against them were described. The themes and issues that were raised during each therapy sessions were presented in detail. Lastly, the changes in the elderlies’ thoughts, feelings and behavior after the completion of the forgiveness therapy were recognized.
Summary of Findings
1. Profile of the Respondents
Majority of the respondents were female. Most of them finished college and the rest were elementary undergraduates. All of them were Roman Catholic. As for their marital status, most of them were widowed with children and the rest were single but had been involved in romantic relationships in the past. Majority of them were referred to the center by authorities and had stayed in GRACES for about six months to two years.

Majority of the respondents were offended by their significantly related offenders and they were offended when they did not receive respect, regard and other things that were rightfully due for
