By using computer simulations, this paper model evaluates the effects of changes to improve patient waiting time. There are some noticeable gaps it this simulation system. First, Varying capacity of the resources and the location of the emergency process was not considering. Second, patients should be considered by clinical specialties in which they are getting their treatment, but the simulation did not put that into consideration. The effects of the process– The simulation consequences display that the simulation Arena could be an active decision backing tool when we model the emergency care process and assessing the outcomes of changes in the process. Based upon the results, the simulation demonstrate proposed changes to shorten patient waiting time by adding another payment station and a short-stay ward in the process, however, limitations are noticed (1) varying capacity of resources and location, and (2) how patients are treated. The use of the computer simulation to hospitals considering reengineering and improving emergency care and other similar process would be effective in improving the healthcare studies of patients and hospital process.

Using discrete event simulation to study and gather data to improve the rotation of the inpatient beds and the discharge system of hospitals. While bed discharge varied that the demand for beds in weekdays is different than weekends even from hour to hour it would not be the same, data collection showed that having a longer discharge time, rising the number of days for admitted patients and decreasing the length of stay all resulted in less waiting time for inpatient
