There are four season that change throughout the twelve month that are in a year. Each part of the world is effected differently according to where they are on the map. These seasons can be predicted by following previous years and looking at the months that are on the calendar. In the past people have performed different rituals according to the season but nowadays people are more likely to think of a holiday and celebrate that rather than the season itself. However there are still many rituals that are performed in the lives of individuals that do not correlate with the seasons.
When people think of winter most of them associate it with Christmas and all of the celebrations that go along with it. Spring is thought of in association with Easter. People think of vacations and traveling when thinking of summer and fall is thought of as Halloween and thanksgiving. Holidays such as these vary though according to where you are in the world. These are not in association with the flowers blooming or snow falling on the ground they are different holidays that have begun due to religions.
Religion is the biggest factor when it comes to rituals because that is the main bases around what everyone lives by. Holidays began due to religion because people started to celebrate momentous occasions that they believed truly happened. Christmas is associated

You cannot enjoy going to the beach if the water is freezing, and you cannot play in the snow unless it is winter because it does not snow in the summer. Snow can also hinder what crops can be grown, heat hinders the growth of crops as well. Farmers have learned what they can plant and what they cannot plant according to what time of year it is and this allows people to have what they need when they need it. All of this allows us to control what time we are able to do different
