Change cold water filter
Most new refrigerators have a small pipeline to supply to the ice maker and cold water dispenser. Replaceable water filters should be replaced on a regular basis to keep the water and ice pure. The frequency of changing the filter depends on the type of water in your area. Most manufacturers recommend exchanging filters every six months, but some people need to replace them frequently, but if they are adequate once a year they live in their original waters can do.

It is quick and easy to change the water filter of the refrigerator. Most of the refrigerator water filters used today do not need to worry about closing the shutoff valve, as water supply is automatically shut off when the filter is removed once.

To fix it, place the knob or cover over the new filter, push the filter straight into the housing and lock it in position by turning it 1/4 turn.

Remember to dispose at least 1 batch or 2 ice and dispense 1 gallon or 2 water, or at least discard it, to get rid of the carbon residue left by the new filter.

Push-in filter
Place the bottom grill push-in refrigerator water filter inside the refrigerator in front of the refrigerator, inside the refrigerator in one of the drawers or on the back compartment. To change the push-in filter, press the button to release the filter and pull out the filter. Remove the old filter cap and push it on the new filter. Next, push the new filter until it locks into place. If there is no button, press the filter and release the held spring latch.
