Chandler wasn't even sure what Max and her were fighting over anymore. She's never truly experienced his rage, only getting in small arguments with him, but this was something new, something that she had to dig deep to find within him. She was under enough stress and with his yelling, she couldn't really think. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes as Max seemed to stop yelling for a minute, losing his thought process for a moment as he looked at his girlfriend sitting on the couch. “Are you even listening?” He snapped, hands on his hips as he looked down at her. They got out board games, spending a nice girls night together. The fight that Chandler and Max shared almost put to the back of Chandler's brain as they got out the second board game, Clue. Noelle was a master at Clue and would probably beat Chandler's butt at it. Right in the middle of the game, Noelle caught the noise of her door being unlocked as she stood up, ready to fight when Ian, her lanky boyfriend walked into the living room. Chandler held her breath as she knocked on the door. The initial shock of fighting with Max was over and she wasn't even angry anymore, just insecure. She just wanted to make sure that he really wanted this, that what he said was just a heat of the moment thing. Max tugged open the door right after Chandler's hand pulled away from the hard wood. Max smiled despite the slight tension that lingered around them still. He was just happy to see Chandler. She smiled back, it made his knees weak. “Hey.” He started, gently, just in case some part of her was still mad. Chandler couldn't wait much longer before she blurted out what was bothering her. “You didn't mean what you said, right?” Her hands were shaking a bit, out of nervousness. Max shook his head, clearing his throat as he looked at his girlfriend. “No, of course not.” “I love you.” Chandler said after he finished. “I love you too.” Max answered, a smile playing on his lips, glad that the big step was over. He cleared his throat again. “I'm sorry for how much I yelled and for what I
