For many people, influential figures serve as essential elements of daily life. The level of impact in which these figures bestow upon people’s lives often varies greatly. Only one person, my mother, has proven to make the largest impact on my life. By sending me to Chaminade, my mother has made me realize more about myself, revealed her true self, and changed me in a multitude of ways. These changes have all been for the better and have proven essential in many of the situations I encounter daily. For instance, my mother has frequently reminded me that only hard work leads to success. By preaching this idea, my mother has managed to significantly improve my determination when faced with trying circumstances. My exposure to the plethora of opportunities offered at Chaminade serves as another way in which my mother has changed me. Before attending Chaminade, I had not become involved in any scholastic activities. However, I am currently a member of multiple engaging and incredibly intriguing school clubs and participate in various sports and activities outside of school. These examples show how my mother has changed me since my first full day of classes at Chaminade.
