Everyone has stressful challenges in their lives. It can keep you up, stealing your sleep and your thoughts. What is it that keep up at night? Is it the payment you need to do? Or a lover you broke up with? Whatever it is, you are not the only one going through all that. You are living, as I like to call it, “The college life”. You, me and everybody else wants to live the “college life”. It is where you can explore and find yourself, and to feel free. A place and time to be responsible for yourself and learn how to live. And in order to be responsible for yourself, you have to face obstacles many college students are going through. These challenges are social, study and financial challenges, and these are the main challenges I think many college students struggle with.

Last but not least, college students struggle with financials. Sanford J. Ungar states, “The cost of American higher education is spiraling out of control” (231). The writer knows that the government insist that tuition should be high priced. Since they think there are many that are going to college and have no trouble paying it, they think it’s a good idea to keep bopping up the prices. While it the prices go up, the less enthusiasm and energy students have. It is hair pulling situation many students and parents go through. Many could pay college tuitions with scholarships, loans, grants and/or out of your pocket. Although there are many options students can pay for college, not many can qualify for scholarships. Numerous of students don’t want loans. And many can’t apply for grants. The students who can qualify don’t have enough so they stress themselves to find a job. It’s time consuming and
