Every year, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has reported considerable progress of healthcare quality among the ethnic group. However, there are few opportunities and challenges that still hinder access of quality care. In 2010, approximately 33% of the USA of the population was people of the ethnic minority groups. These includes the African American (12.9%), Hispanics/Latinos (16.9%), Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders (NHOPIs) (0.2%) and the American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/ANs) (1.0%). It has been projected that by 2050, the minority groups will account for 50% of the USA population (OMH, 2015). The study found that mobile clinics reach low income families across the state.
