From a young age I had move all around the country . At the tender age of three I had to move from Arizona to North Carolina. There I spent two years (one of them in Kindergarten) but managed to make friends that I still have to this day. After those two years I was again ripped away from the place I called home. I remember being so upset because I had to leave a place which I fell in love with. This second school was in Connecticut. Here I spent another two years before I had to move yet again. This time I got to move back to North Carolina. North Carolina welcomed me back like an old friend. Here I would spend the next eight years… but I still moved schools often due to redistricting and moving from elementary school up to high school. My sophomore year I went from panther Creek to Apex Friendship. Moving schools in High School is extremely tough because everyone already has their clicks and you have to try to get into a group. I was lucky that I ran cross-country because it allowed me to gain a large group of extremely close friends. …show more content…
I learned how I learn best and what types of people to hang out with. I believe that constantly moving has given me a competitive edge when meeting new people or being put into new circumstances due to having to change my life every few year. I wouldn't call moving a lot the best thing ever though because it has prevented me from creating deeper relationships with people due to only being with them for a year or two. Overall my past has made me who I am today and for that I look back upon these challenges with a smile knowing that I conquered them
