Middle School Mid-Life Crisis Middle school, a time of cringe worthy moments and regret. I like to refer to this story as my “Middle School Mid-Life Crisis”, since I questioned the purpose of going to school almost every day, and never felt motivated to do anything. Dreading almost every day of school, not having stable mental, emotional, or physical health, and feeling dissatisfied with myself as a student. My mind set was always on countdown mode, “I just have to make it through this class period. I only have 20 more problems to do.”…

Overview When coming into this school year I had high expectations of what it would be like, unfortunately school does not have instructions included. We all have this pre-written idea of what the seventh grade will be like, whether it's improving our social status or finally being in a relationship. When looking at these goals from afar we just think these are the cliche pubescent middle school goals; at least that's what I thought when I surveyed students in what they wanted before the school year ended. But when we look at these goals with an open mind they're actually trying to figure out your place in life or figuring out…

In the video twenty-five seven year olds were evaluated on how they were handling to cope with peer pressure and would it be easier to conform in order to be part of a group or be robbed of their individuality? Different scenarios were given, for example being excluded from a group, being sad and being a slow runner. A little boy named Jamie was asked do you think it is right to not ask the slow runner to join the team. Jamie’s response was “they should have asked him to join the team because it doesn’t matter about winning.”…
