In a particular child 's case the parents are divorced with a custody agreement of four days at one house then four days at their other house. This is challenging for Mrs. Brosky to deal with because the parents do not get along, and she is treated as an in between. I must confess, initially this was both an awkward and refreshing experience for me at the same time. Obviously, this was my first time using the Landreth method of approach for interacting with a child, so as one might imagine, I immediately developed feelings of curiosity and apprehension. Now this is coming from a person who has worked in the field of education with children of all ages for over 20 years; yet, somehow, I felt like a young inexperienced teacher nervously approaching the school for the first day. Nonetheless, despite my unwarranted anxieties, I managed to gather my thoughts and maintain my composure for this new venture into the unknown. For the interview, I thought it would be best for me to go to my client’s home to establish a level of comfort and familiarity;…
