As my senior year comes to an end, the life of a college student will soon begin. Over the years I have encounter various challenges, but out of all the challenges I have face, one has been frequently happening. My status as a Daca/Dreamer student makes my financial process more difficult to get. When it comes to applying for scholarships that require you to be a U.S citizen it causes a limitation for me to apply for it. There are plenty of scholarships out there that pertain to me but half of them I can't apply for because I'm not a U.S Citizen. With this status I'm also not able to get any federal help to pay for college. As a Daca student I will experience setbacks throughout my college career, but they will be experiences to learn from.
