In our area we generally see females in their early to late twenties with children looking for a job that allows them to get their kids on the bus and still are home before they are done with school. This is a great dynamic for our maid service, our customers, and our staff. The millennial generation is looking for more than a home cleaning job, finding them is hard and keeping them is even harder. As a manager being able to adapt to the needs and desires of this generation can be a challenge in itself (What Can Employers Do?, 2015). Reward strategies and what motivates the millennial generation is different than previous generations but none the less very important to understand.
