Through reading the book, Delighting in the Trinity, I discovered how God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are all connected and how that affects my life today. One of the most important concepts for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the idea of the priesthood. The priesthood was restored in May of 1829, with the Aaronic priesthood being restored in the house of David Whitmer, and the Melchizedek priesthood being restored in a variety of events over a thirteen day period (Porter).
