It is important that all police agencies are familiar with the structure, functions, activities, and services of the chain of command to understand its inner workings and responsibilities and understand the organizational structure, so that information and delegation of tasks flow properly through the chain of command. A formalized organizational structure will also ensure maximum service delivery to the citizens of each police agencies around the world.
