What were the issues that impacted the U.S. economy following the war of 1812?
Some direct things that happened because of war of 1812 included:
Westward Surge of migrants being pushed out because they had nowhere to live and farm. Another is an increase in the textile Industry because of more cotton growing in the south. A creation of a national bank because US was in debt and had financial problems due to war. Economically. we had a surge of British goods that hurt our market. To combat this, we created a tariff on imported goods and encouraged purchasing goods made in the US. We also quarreled over who would fund the roads being built.

Anything relating to the controversial topic of slaves showed a rising in sectionalism. When Missouri was made into a state it was considered a slave state. To keep the country equal Maine was created and was a non-slave state. This was proposed by Henry Clay.
What principle was established by the decisions of Marshall’s Court?
Marshall’s court really established the powers that the Judicial branch had including Judicial Review (from the case of marbury v. madison). This could make a law passed by congress ineffective because it conflicted with the interest of the Constitution.
