Right away, they felt the difference and their bodies were all messed up. They noticed the different time zones because their bodies were tired and felt uncomfortable for a while. Everything around them was so different and not what they were used to. Our surroundings and the way we do things are a big part of our culture. Most people believe culture is just religion and how their family celebrates anything. That's not true though, culture is everything about you, yes religion is also a big part of your culture,but it's not everything. when I go to school it's not culture based when I go to the mall I don't focus on culture. Yes culture does a role in my life but not all the time. when I go to a quinceanera (15th birthday party for young woman) culture affects me. When I go to church culture affects me because my religion is part of my heritage and culture. But when I'm with my friends culture is most the time not involved in what I'm doing so it does not affect me. In Santha Rama rau’s memoir “By Any Other Name” Santha says “I sprinted barefoot across the lawn with my favorite playmate” she’s playing with her friend,culture is not affecting her in anyway.
