Chronic endometritis. Chronic endometritis is an inflammation of the inner lining of the uterus. According to Kaunitz (2016), approximately 15% of women with chronic endometritis present with intermenstrual bleeding and postcoital bleeding. The diagnosis of chronic endometritis is made clinically based upon symptoms and can be confirmed with an endometrial sample. A patient with this condition often present with vague lower pelvic pain and cervical motion tenderness. However, some patients may have a completely normal examination and without a fever. This patient denies lower uterine discomfort and does not have cervical motion tenderness. She does not have a history of sexual transmitted diseases and her LPS was normal. This diagnosis is unlikely because other than spotting irregularly during cycle and after intercourse, her symptoms are not consistent with this
