Cervical Fusion Case Study

DOI: 10/15/2010. The patient is a 63-year-old female machine operator who sustained a work-related injury from performing repetitive duties of usual and customary job. Patient is status post cervical midline C7-T1 Epidural Steroid Injection (ESI) on 08/14/15 and status post cervical fusion at C5-6 and C6-7 on 03/15/16.
Cervical spine x-ray on 05/05/16 showed postsurgical findings status post interbody fusion procedure at C5-C6.
MRI of the cervical spine dated 06/16/16 revealed interval postsurgical changes consistent with anterior cervical discectomy and fusion at C5-6. Mild to moderate multilevel neural foraminal stenosis is demonstrated.
