Thinking of the most rewarding experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant was a very hard decision to make. Every day I come into work the residents help brighten my day. We laugh, sing and dance together and this is when the day’s activity is over. Some of the residents are speech impaired, but I give them a big smile and asked them “how are you doing today?” They usually give me an even bigger smile back. If they are having a rough day I always try to encourage them by letting them know that things will get better. I consistently remind them of this; no matter how many times I have to repeat it. I believe we are all blessed to be a blessing to others. I spread the happiness and love in my heart to the residents and it always comes back
